Reno Rotaract Policies

1. If a Rotaractor signs up for an event that is paid for by the club and does not attend, they must reimburse the club for the cost of the event.

2. All Club Assemblies and Professional Development meetings are business casual attire.

3. Each member is required to attend 3 Rotary service events in which we, Rotaract are asked to participate.

4. Potential Members may not join Friends of Rotaract if they meet the requirements for membership in Rotaract.

5. Dues are due the first of the month or according to selected payment plan. Financial standing with the club will be reviewed every three months. If you are found to be in poor standing with the club you will have one month to pay the outstanding balance.

6. The Board of Directors members must attend 75% of the Board of Directors meetings or they will automatically lose their position.

7. If a member of Rotaract is in bad standings fiscally or due to attendance they are not eligible for a leave of absence.

8. All money from the happy times jar will go to the foundation.

9. The Rotaract Club of Reno will not financially support members in bad standing to any club sponsored event including but not limited to; club socials, district events and training opportunities.

10.All needed information about club functions should be sent to the Secretary of the Reno Rotaract Club no later than 7:00pm on the Sunday of the week prior to the meeting.

The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.
